Command search is the fastest way to navigate your dashboard. Press a keyboard shortcut and start typing to jump to any page instantly — no clicking through menus required.

How to Open Command Search

You have two options: press ⌘J on Mac or Ctrl+J on Windows/Linux, or click the search icon in the top header bar of your dashboard.

A search dialog appears in the center of your screen. Start typing to find what you need.

The shortcut is ⌘J (or Ctrl+J), not ⌘K. This avoids conflicts with common browser shortcuts.

What You Can Search

  • Navigation — Type the name of any dashboard section to jump there instantly: "bookings", "properties", "finance", "growth", "settings", "academy".

  • Settings — Jump directly to specific settings pages by typing their name or related keywords: "integrations" (also matches "PMS", "Calry", "Stripe", or "Staycy"), "team", "billing", "workspace", "advanced".

  • Academy Articles — Search across all Academy articles by typing any topic. Results show the article title and category, so you can find help without leaving what you're doing. The search is forgiving — minor typos still find the right results.

Navigating Results

Results appear grouped by type: Navigation, Settings, Academy

  • Use the arrow keys (↑ ↓) to move between results

  • Press Enter to go to the selected result

  • Press Escape to close the search dialog

Some features may show a 🔒 icon if they aren't set up yet. This tells you what you can unlock — for example, "Unlock with PMS connection" means connecting your PMS will enable that feature.

Tips for Faster Navigation

  • Be specific — Type "billing" instead of "settings" to go directly to billing

  • Use keywords — Type "Stripe" to find integration settings without remembering the exact page name

  • Search for help — Type your question topic (like "notifications" or "custom domain") to find relevant Academy articles

  • Command search remembers nothing between sessions — it's a quick navigation tool, not a history tracker. Open it, type, go.
