Booking Engine
Publishing Your Booking Site
Your Booking Engine Your booking engine is the public-facing site where guests browse your properties, check availability, and make bookings. It's available at your workspace URL: your-slug.staycy.app Guests can search by dates, view property details and photos, select their stay, and complete checkout — all on your branded booking site. Pre-Launch Checklist Before your first guest can book, make sure everything is in place: - PMS connected — Your properties are synced from your PMS via Calry. Check My Properties to confirm your properties appear. - Payments enabled — Stripe Connect is set up with charges and payouts enabled in Settings > Integrations > Stripe. - Listings enabled — At least one property is enabled for the booking engine. Go to My Properties and enable the properties you want guests to see. - Branding configured — Your company name and logo are set in Settings > Workspace. - Cancellation policy set — Configure your refund policy in Bookings > Policies. Choose from flexible, moderate, strict, or set a custom policy. Guests will see this before they book. - Publish your site — Go to Website and publish your booking site from there. Only workspace Owners can publish. You can unpublish your booking site at any time from the Website section. Unpublishing takes your site offline but preserves all your settings. Guests will see your workspace slug in the URL. If you'd prefer a branded domain, you can add a custom domain — see the Custom Domain guide for step-by-step instructions. What Guests See Once your booking site is live, guests can: Browse your property catalog with photos and descriptions Search by dates, location, and guest count View details including amenities, pricing, and availability Book with a streamlined checkout and secure Stripe payment What's Next? Discount Codes
What Are Discount Codes? Discount codes are promotional codes that guests can enter during checkout to receive a discount on their booking. They're a great way to attract new guests, reward returning visitors, or run seasonal promotions. Discount codes are managed from the Discounts section, found under Website in your dashboard. Creating a Discount Code - Go to Discounts — In the left sidebar, click Website, then open Discounts. - Click Create Discount — Click the button to start creating a new code. - Enter a code name — Choose a memorable code your guests will type at checkout — for example, SUMMER25 or WELCOME10. Keep it short and easy to remember. - Choose the discount type — Select Percentage (e.g., 10% off the booking total) or Fixed amount (e.g., €25 off). - Set the discount value — Enter how much the discount is worth — the percentage or the fixed euro amount. - Set optional limits — Optionally configure: a minimum booking value the guest must meet, start and end dates for when the code is valid, a maximum number of total uses, and a per-guest usage limit. - Choose which listings apply — Decide whether the code works for all your listings or only specific properties. - Save the discount code — Review your settings and save. The code is active immediately (or from the start date if you set one). Discount Types - Percentage discount — Reduces the booking total by a percentage. For example, a 10% code on a €500 booking gives the guest a €50 discount. - Fixed discount — Reduces the booking total by a fixed amount. For example, a €25 code takes €25 off regardless of the booking total. Controlling Code Usage You have several options to control when and how discount codes can be used: - Validity dates — Set a start and end date. The code only works within this window — perfect for seasonal campaigns. - Usage limits — Set a maximum number of total uses (e.g., "first 50 guests") and/or a per-guest limit (e.g., "once per guest"). - Minimum booking value — Require a minimum spend before the code applies (e.g., "€200 minimum booking"). - Listing restrictions — Apply the code to all your listings, or restrict it to specific properties. Discount codes are case-insensitive. SUMMER25 and summer25 are treated as the same code, so guests don't need to worry about capitalization. How Guests Use Discount Codes During checkout on your booking engine, guests see a "Discount Code" field. They enter the code, and the discount is applied immediately — the updated price breakdown shows the original amount, the discount, and the new total. Managing Your Discount Codes From the Discounts section, you can: view all codes in a table with their status, type, value, and usage count; see usage statistics — how many times each code has been used; edit codes — change usage limits, validity dates, or listing restrictions; and deactivate codes — turn off codes you no longer want to honor without deleting them. This gives you full control over your promotional strategy and helps you track which campaigns are driving the most bookings.
